URGENT NOTICE ON CONSULAR SERVICES IN VIEW OF COVID-19
Please note that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the regular appointment system of the Bangladesh High Commission regarding MRP, Visa and NVR services is postponed until further notice. Most services are being rendered online and by post.
Considering the health, safety and well-being of our valued consular service seekers in view of the recent outbreak of highly contagious and infectious COVID-19 in the U.K., Bangladesh High Commission London has decided to adopt following procedures for rendering consular services until further notice :
A. For the services of MRP re-issue, VISA, NVR, and general Attestation of documents attested by FCO, applicants will have to use trackable POSTAL SERVICE. They are requested to send their completed applications along with the requisite health certificate (for Visa and NVR), postal orders, and prepaid Next Day recorded delivery return envelope.
B. Services like New MRP, Birth Registration, Power of Attorney and Signature attestation will remain postponed.
C. Any need for urgent services will remain open for all. For this purpose, applicants are requested to contact by email opened for urgent services firstname.lastname@example.org with a copy to any of the following emails:

The High Commission deeply regrets any inconvenience caused by this temporary decision taken in view of the existing unwarranted situation and in the interest of the health and safety of our valued service seekers.
All consular service seekers are, therefore, highly encouraged to avail postal and online consular services at the High Commission maintaining social distances and minimising COVID-19 risks as advised by the U.K. government authorities.
