The High Commission invites application for the ‘Outstanding Achievement Awards 2017’ for British-Bangladeshi students in recognition of their academic excellence in GCSE/A-level exams held in 2017. Applicants must be of Bangladesh origin and have achieved a minimum of 10 (ten) "A"s in GCSE (7 in Maths and English will be considered as 'A' and 8 & 9 will be considered as ‘A*’)/ 3(three) "A"s in the A-level examinations.
Applicants are requested to submit duly filled in application forms and subject information form authenticated by respective Head Teachers/Principals/equivalent authority along with two recent UK passport size photographs and proof of Bangladeshi origin (e.g. copies of parent’s/student’s Bangladeshi passport, copy of UK passport with ‘no visa required’ sticker) to the High Commission by post/email by 30 October 2017. Parents/legal guardians may also apply on behalf of the students. Only the duly filled in applications can be considered.
