Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reiterated her call to the international community to keep up their pressure on the Myanmar government to take back the Rohingya people from Bangladesh. The PM made the call when International Rescue Committee President David Miliband paid a courtesy call on her in Dhaka yesterday.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will leave Dhaka tomorrow for Canada to attend the outreach session of the G7 summit at the invitation of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Issues related to Rohingya crisis and bringing back the fugitive killers of Bangabandhu will be highlighted during the visit.

The Budget Session of the Jatiya Sangsad began yesterday. Finance Minister A M A Muhith will place the national budget for the upcoming fiscal in the House tomorrow. Meanwhile, the Business Advisory Committee at a meeting with Speaker Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair decided that the budget session would continue till July 12. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, among others, joined the meeting.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim has asked the authorities concerned to complete all projects of health sector within due time with transparency, accountability and sincerity. The Minister gave the directive while presiding over a meeting in his ministry yesterday.
