President Md. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have greeted the members of Buddhist community on the occasion of ‘Kathin Chibar Dan’. The President and the Prime Minister wishes the success of the day marking the ‘Kathin Chibar Dan’.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said, her government has undertaken massive programmes through different ministries/departments/authorities to bring all people under housing facility. The Premier said this while replying to a question-answer session in the Jatiya Sangsad yesterday.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said, National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute will help treat burn patients and train plastic surgeons to meet the country's requirements. The Premier made the remarks while inaugurating the world's largest burn and plastic surgery institute, Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute, in the capital's Chankharpul area yesterday. The Prime Minister also urged people of the country to take steps against those who may carry out arson attacks on people in days ahead before the elections.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has laid importance on finding ways and means for future improvements of the maritime security of Asia region through sharing experiences of different countries. The Premier said this while inaugurating the 14th high-level meeting of the Heads of Coast Guards and Maritime Agencies in Dhaka yesterday. The Premier inaugurated commemorative postal stamp on the auspicious occasion attended by about 100 delegates from 20 countries.

Peru will replicate the success of Bangladesh in attaining the Sustainable Development Goals using the SDG tracker like Bangladesh. In this regard, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the 'National Institute of Statistics and Informatics of Peru' and 'a2i-Innovate for All of Bangladesh' at Dubai in the UAE on Tuesday to establish a framework of cooperation in monitoring SDGs and different data initiatives.

Bangladesh and India have finalised a procedure for trans-boundary movement of passenger and cruise vessels as concerned officials of the two countries began a two-day long meeting in New Delhi yesterday.
